Bride & Groom: Rebecca and David

Services booked: Partial planning and On the day service

The bride contacted us about 10 months before her big day, the venues were booked but as a stay at home mum with 4 young children she got in touch as she was beginning to feel a bit overwhelmed with the finer planning details.

The couple were a little lost to begin with on décor design ideas, so once we’d established the kind of day they were looking for, we shared a selection of ideas to compliment this.  We visited the venue to help us visualise how to incorporate our design ideas.

Throughout the lead up, both Rebecca & David enjoyed most of the planning but always knew they could come to us for advice, ideas and reassurance, which they did a few times!

On the day, the sky was clear and there was not a rain cloud in sight, the florist had done an amazing job with a beautiful floral arch outside the church. David arrived with his best man and ushers before welcoming all the guests to take their seats, Rebecca came in style, looking radiant and ready for her big day, along with their beautiful flower girls and bridesmaids.

Chiddingstone Castle was home to the welcome drinks, wedding breakfast and the reception.  There was fun in the shape of a selfie photo mirror and the beautiful floral centrepieces completed the look in the main hall.  We found them a fabulous band that catered to their every need and the party was swinging all night!

The bride and groom were a delight to work with and Sweet Sorbet would like to wish them a happy and prosperous future.
